Art on the Avenue
East Tosa is home to NoMAD, the North Avenue Mural Arts District—where nine larger-than-life works of art transform the walls of local businesses into one of the district’s most colorful attractions. Created by artists from Milwaukee to Ireland, the murals are full of unexpected details: hidden butterflies, a technicolor raccoon, a goldfish tangled in sunflowers, and plenty more waiting to be discovered.
